Terms related to Artificial Intelligence

Chat bot: According to (Oracle, n.d.)At the most basic level, a chatbot is a computer program that simulates and processes human conversation, allowing humans to interact with digital devices as if they were communicating with a real person.

These are commonly applied for customer service to help with little questions about a service or product.

Data Crunching

According to (Netsuite, 2021) Data crunching is needed to convert raw data into a form suitable for analysis. It commonly involves clearing out proprietary formatting and unwanted data, converting number and date formats and reformatting and structuring the information.

The data commonly comes from Big data collected.

Automated learning:

According to (AutoML, 2023) Automated Machine Learning provides methods and processes to make Machine Learning available for non-Machine Learning experts, to improve efficiency of Machine Learning and to accelerate research on Machine Learning.

Can be used for various purposes like data management, data analysis and data visualization.

Neural Network

According (Amazon, n.d.)It is a type of machine learning process, called deep learning, that uses interconnected nodes in a layered structure that resembles the human brain. It creates an adaptive system that computers use to learn from their mistakes

Once these learning algorithms get better in accuracy they are powerful tools. Can be used to process and analyze data

Turing test:

According to (TechTarget, n.d.)The Turing Test is a method of inquiry in artificial intelligence (AI) for determining whether or not a computer is capable of thinking like a human being

It is about interviewing a human and an AI without knowing which is which.
